bloody fireworks

where i'm living at the moment, just round the corner there used to be a pet shop. i took my children there a few times to look at the animals. recently it closed down and now it sells half-price display fireworks. last night was like downtown beirut in the surrounding area. it's only a matter of time before i get one in the face, i just know it. i don't understand why people are allowed to sell the things. i don't understand why people are allowed to buy them. it's just another entry in the long list of things that piss me off.
