Denied!

Nice interview today with that Gillian Anderson in The Observer. She's up for one of them BAFTA things, isn't she?

Unfortunately, I heard her on the radio this morning (nice English accent, Gill, you chameleon, you) and she confessed that she almost never watches TV. "I'd rather read a book," she said.

All very well, but I think people who appear on TV but don't watch it themselves (luvvies, in other words) should be automatically disqualified as far as awards are concerned. "I think TV is crap, but here, look at me, look at me, I'm on TV."

Doesn't wash with me.
