Eager readers will be desperate to know the name of the actress playing Sophie in the new Renault Clio ad.

She's Annelise Hesme, who was in Alexander, which I never saw, and a bunch of French films, which I haven't knowingly seen, though I thought she looked familiar. Probably because she looks a bit like my wife, which is a nice reminder as to why I absolutely love French girls.
