public library #2
no, this isn't a post about the first draft of a song leonard cohen wrote about janis joplin,
i remember you well in the public library
you were talking so brave and so sweet
giving me head by large print fiction
while the limousines wait in the street
it's just a follow up to my earlier public library post.
after detailed investigation i can report that in the southend central library one is allowed a maximum of ONE HOUR A DAY on the interweb. forgot to ask if i get another hour if i log in at leigh on sea public library. or southchurch. my guess is, yes, i probably do. they wouldn't be all linked together in that way, would they.
one hour a day is probably as much as any of us should spend on the interweb, not including work. although i'm not about to legislate for anyone else. it's not my style. of course, southend on sea central library had to bring in the one-hour policy because of the SELFISH WANKERS who abuse the system and RUIN IT FOR EVERYBODY ELSE.
